I am back from my hiatus. We had a house fire and lost our home back in January and this was coupled to some physical ailments but it's time to get back at it.

My vinyl collection is coming along - I just picked up a good copy of "Kind of Blue". It is the original 6 eye mono and I am happy to have it. There is something about vinyl that is just an experience in music appreciation. I enjoy every snap, crackle and pop.

On a different note, I picked up the soundtrack from the movie "Playing by Heart", which featured Chris Botti, Chet Baker and John Barry. I actually saw the movie after listening to the album which is not the way it usually happens. You might want to rent the movie and check it out. Let me know what you think. I like the music - it is good background sound for when I am working on the computer.
